company cancels my term life insurance?

so what does the agent get paid a commission for? I thought it was customer service. I recently discovered a home’s insurance had lapsed 5 months ago (we’re the mortgage holder) no one notified the owner or us that it was not insured…the homeowner had no idea they had canceled him but the agent claimed he knew. No one could explain why we weren’t notified. something is wrong here… companies can be sloppy, employees ***** it up and no one is accountable.
I notified them for 3 years of the new address on the little paper they send you to note changes. I’m not sure why no one changes my address when I asked them and I’m not sure where all my mail went if not back to the sender. My agent is the same agent for the homeowner they did NOT notify me, I just happened to call and ask. Guess I need a new agent after 30 years for my 6 homes and business insurance.
yesterday my agent called to say usf denied sending me a refusal letter… so I faxed it to her. I requested a refund of the 3 years I did pay since they weren’t insuring me cause of my weight.

For 20 or reinstate the old you of the insurance company sends out more than one notice and its not your agents job to notify you if nothing has changed does your agent want to write new policy or 30 years.
